🦖 Coelophysis Skull Cast #3 – Ghost Ranch, New Mexico – 6.5"
Coelophysis Dinosaur Skull Cast Replica for Sale
One of the earliest known dinosaurs from North America, Coelophysis (“hollow face”) was a small, lightly built theropod from the Late Triassic Period. Its skull featured open bone structures — hence its name — and its slender, pointed head was filled with sharp, serrated teeth perfect for catching prey.
Dozens of Coelophysis skeletons have been discovered at the famous Ghost Ranch site in New Mexico, making it one of the best-known early dinosaurs. Remarkably, one specimen was found with the remains of its last meal preserved inside its ribcage.
This detailed cast replicates a Coelophysis skull in relief, faithfully reproduced from genuine fossil material.
