Hodgson Bigfoot Cast Replica – 13” Track from Bluff Creek
This is a duplicate cast of a 13-inch Bigfoot footprint, originally made in October 1967 (some sources say 1963) by the late Albert “Al” E. Hodgson, a long-time resident of Willow Creek, California. I have known Al personally for over 25 years and can vouch for his integrity and honesty in all matters, including his contributions to Bigfoot history.
As many Bigfoot enthusiasts know, Bluff Creek—where this print was found—is also the site of the legendary Patterson-Gimlin film, captured on October 20, 1967, just about 25 miles from Willow Creek. Patterson and Gimlin themselves said Al was the first person they told about their encounter when they returned to town that day.

About the Cast
This replica is a faithful copy of a footprint found by Al Hodgson:
> "This is a copy of a cast made from a Bigfoot track that I found on a little sand-gravel bar adjacent to Bluff Creek in October 1963. Just upstream from this location, the famous Patterson-Gimlin footage was captured on October 20, 1967. This is about fifty miles north of Willow Creek, in the Six Rivers National Forest, California.
I have seen Bigfoot tracks five times. On one occasion, there were three sets together. I also once found what I believed to be a knee print beside a still pool of water near a creek.
Back in the 1940s, strange cries were often heard in our valley—no one could identify them. One man thought it might be a bear with a broken jaw. That summer, human-like tracks appeared regularly down a dusty country road.
A young girl once stumbled upon it in a berry patch and described it as 'a great big hairy man.'
A few months ago, a friend of mine confided that she saw one while camping. She was watching her son ride up a hill on his motorbike when something began chasing him. She could see golden hair flowing from the back of its head—it was close enough for her to get a good look.
The number of tracks found in the Pacific Northwest is staggering. The actual sightings of these elusive creatures would astound you."

Albert “Al” E. Hodgson was often considered the grand elder statesman of the Bigfoot community in Willow Creek. A respected historian, he was deeply involved in documenting local reports and findings related to Bigfoot. He passed away peacefully on Easter morning, April 1, 2018, at the age of 94.
